Peter Heller Writer & Scholar

Peter Heller (1920 – 1998) Professor of German and Comparative Literature, University of Buffalo. Author of multiple scholarly articles and books on Kafka, Sigmund Freud, psychoanalysis and comparative literature.

He was one of the first patients to undergo child psychoanalysis with Anna Freud. 

Peter Heller’s work is archived at the Leo Baeck Institute, New York City (currently being digitized) and in the Library of Congress.
